Default Guess HP for my setup

Having a setup put together. Looking to see if anyone has a similar setup or if anyone can guess what type of horsepower it'll put out. Here are the details:

383 Stroker 11.5:1 compression
AFR 210 Heads
236/248 .520/.540 113 LSA
Vic Jr.
830CFM Holley

Thanks in advance.

Not even close....

Your run of the mill 383 with GOOD parts can make 400-450. A junk slapped together mess of missmatched parts will net you 350-380 roughly.

We can't tell exactly cuz it's a crap shoot, build it and report back when the car is dyno'd.

bump your compression half a degree and get those heads ported and you'll have something pretty wild...

That cam needs more lift to take advantage of the heads and I think the Vic Jr will hold you back. The Super Vic would have been better if it's not a street car.

Your camshaft is not suitable and mis matched for your heads/compression, you are leaving A LOT of power on the table. I would get the flow numbers from the heads and then call Chris @ Straub Technologies and have him spec you a cam, he is the man! With the right camshaft, you should be good for about 550+HP/525+TQ @ the Crank.

Probably needs a tighter lsa also... 113 is pretty wide for N/A

LSA really has nothing to do with it. Two cams with the same LSA can have very different amounts of overlap.

And I also agree that this build wasn't thought through very well. Might still be quick, but not like it should be.

I would also say your cam is holding you back a lot. A custom cam would suit you better. A 113 LSA is more like a turbo cam spec. A 110 or 111 LSA for a N/A motors would work and sound a lot better. The duration is fine but the lift on it blows. Their are custom grind cams for stock motors that has more lift than that. I think lift around 570+ will give you the full effect.

96Capricemanager will post something shortly and tell you exactly what you need to do.

But im guessing around the 395-425rwhp. Maybe???????

You dont think so??? Why does So many builders require a tighter LSA on N/A and a looser LSA and FI cars?(I know my answer just wondering what your is?)

Out of the box comp 210s with a 236/248 cam will make ~425-450rwhp through a t56.

Step up the cam and hand port the heads and you can hit that 500rwhp mark.

I don't see how you get that ? between the mustang dyno and dyno jet around here they is only 20 rwhp difference with the dyno jet being higher
