Default E.t. Streets With Stock Rear End?

I'm thinking of get the E.T.'s but I have a stock 10 bolt. Is this a bad Idea? Let me know pls...

i broke my 10 bolt at the track with a nitto leaving at 4,000

Its an A4. Any broken rears with an A4?

With stock converter and gears, I'd say you'll probably be ok... if you get a higher stall converter and move up to 3.42 or 3.73 gears, then you'd be putting the 10 bolt in danger.

With 26x11.5x16 ET Streets and a 3800 stall, my 10 bolt lasted for about 20 runs before it let go. It had 3.23 gears. Carrier bearings went and teeth on the gear broke. I think it was a combination of the sticky tires and a 50k mile rear that did me in. Some people have good luck, some don't.

I had good luck, but my days now (with the new cam) are numbered. I left off the limiter multiple times on ET's with 3.42's M6 and stock cam. Now I added about 50 rwhp and a few thousand miles on the rear. Best leave lately is from 4,000 on Nittos.

What are you talking about will a S10 really fit? Some details please.
