disable the security???
Can any of the programs like ls1edit delete the freakin horrible security system on my camaro? Every other time i get in it , i have to wait around until the security lets me start it. If it can be eliminated that would be perfect.

If I remeber right all you need to do is but the key in and press the lock unlock button! Or something like that, DEI sent me a printout but I lost it! As the aftermarket alarm was fighting the stock one!

The resistor thing is super easy. That's the way I did mine. Just measure the resistance value of your key, go to radio shack and buy enough resistors to add up to the value of your key (+- 10 ohms). Just cut the wire on the column end of the connector and use the connector that now has two wires on it and wire the resistors there.

Hey dude! We turn off VATS in the PCM, that just leaves starter enable to fix. The options are to either measure the resistance value of the pellet in the key and replace in the harness as noted, or find the wire that leads from the column to the BCM that is hot when the ign key is turned to "start" and jump around the BCM. You jump to the purple wire that exits the BCM and goes to the starter itself.
