If it bothers you, what about having the driveshaft reworked
so you can use a standard U-joint?
Once upon a time I swapped a 231 Buick / T5 combo into
a Fiat Spider and had to fix the driveshaft problem. The
answer was cutting the head end out of a Monza driveshaft
and welding it into the remainder of the Fiat tube. Easy,
even with no skills and an AC-only buzz box.
Of course this was not as challenging as 500+HP in a heavy
car, as far as welding skills and durability. But seems like
maybe Denny's or somebody could set you up with a deal
that's easier to get "normal" wear parts for.

This is an ultra budget build so any additional expenditures will hurt me. I'm running a stock 6.0 and LTs with my 01 LS6 intake so the Moog should handle it until I get in a better position. I was just surprised that they were the only two manufacturers that I found for what I would of thought as a common situation.
