Default LS7 lifters for TT 900 WHP build?

Ive been searching for others results and opinions on the matter, and most of the stuff I find is in the Gen III internal engine section on LS7 lifter capability and reliability. Ive found a couple guys on here like Automagic running 900-1000 WHP on FI cars with LS7 lifters successfully... is it a bad idea? There's a lot of hearsay flying around in most threads related to the topic, Id like to here from FI guys specifically on their results with them over 800 WHP.

I would go with Brian Tooley SLR Lifters over the LS7 pieces, very similar price, and a lot better performance.

I see power having little bearing in lifters.

Cam profiles etc yes, but actual power...no

But never really heard any bad reports about the standard stuff ?

Neither have I. I question how the BTR ones have "alot better performance" than the ls7 ones. In what way?

I guess I should have choose my words more carefully, they offer better performance, but not a lot (two words) better.

That's what I was thinking as well, but I wasn't sure. I figure if the guy who specd the cam (LilJohn) said LS7 lifters will be fine for this cam, and BTR said they'll be fine, Im going to go ahead with them.

In what way is it better performing though? I don't doubt it's a great product but is it made out of better material or more lightweight? I'm not trying to be a disruptive doucher, but really I'd like to know.
