Default jumped 12v into coils fires right up...

anyone have this problem? i would rather have it back to stock without but i dont want it to die on me while im driving. is it safe to wire that way with a switch and keep it like that ?

what are you saying, that the factory 12volt lead to the coils is not working? Did you check the fuse/fuses?

you have to actually check the fuses, sometimes they appear as fine buy are actually blown. Also look for a fusible link that has gone bad.

Use a test light or meter, turn the ignition on, and probe each side of the top of the fuse. When a fuse reads power on one side, and not the other than that fuse is blown. You can also pull the fuse, set your DMM on ohms, and touch one probe to one side and one to the other. A ood fuse will have some value of resistance close to 0. A blon fuse will not read anything.
