As an alternative I would suggest doing your own
porting/filling on the TB (if your craftsmanship is
up to the job, you get to spend the money on
tools instead) and some lower control arm bolt-
in relocation brackets (to help hook up the
converter's extra push).
As I understand the pulley situation, what you
want (to avoid charging system shortfall) is the
underdrive crank pulley and an -overdrive- alt
pulley, this keeping the shaft speed of the alt
the same, but cutting the A/C, P/S and water
pump drag torque. If you only replace the crank
then the alt will be slowed with the rest of them.
Underdrive crank pulley = smaller
Overdrive alt pulley = smaller

a tune bye APE is 535 i was considering the intake too. i want to do a bunch of stuff to my car and then get it tuned. for 535 i cant get it tuned allll the time. eventually going to do the intake, and headers, but want to finish up with some smaller priced bolt-ons.

Realistically, if you have never done it before, a pulley install I'd guess would take you about 2 hours. I used a 3-arm pulley puller from Napa autoparts. You will also need a longer bolt that you can use to re-install the new pulley. Some say using the a longer bolt is bad, and a stud and nut should be used, but the long bolt works well if you have it hooked on enough threads.
