98TA, lid,cutout,MAC/ORY,shortbelt,!pass or rear seats,swaybar STILL CONNECTED
stock suspension,BFG DRs and Vig3200

DA was +900

My car has always had 1* or KR and low timing. (I'm working on it) And I have a header leak
on the manifold(working on it)

I just wanted a run w/ the TC

Best run was:
1.79 60'
7.98@86.6

I have ET streets now.

The sixty foot time looks respectable. If you work on your traction, you should be able to get it down in the 1.65 and upper range with suspension work and practice. I used to run 1.68 to 1.75 consistent on Nitto's last year. For suspension--Hals front and back, metco lowered control arms, RT torque arm, certain air pressure, and Hal Drag shocks. If you work on your suspension, you will most likely have better times than mine because I used Nitto's not the slicks. Anyway, your time looks good to me and keep up the good work.

Dude, I have yet to break into the 7's in the 1/8th yet and I run consistent 12.7's@108.

You got mid to low 12's right now.

Later, Stu

For comparison JC.

My 01' A4 on a stock convertor, and internals; with mac headers, free mods, and a lid, went 7.9's@92

Lane ran a 8.1 on Nittos. If his weather would've been as good as yours and he was on ET streets then he could've did it.

So you not really that special.

JC you are sadly mistaken. Don't diss my car; just make yours faster. Once you are ready to take on 2K2 from a roll then I will be impressed until then. I have gone 11.1@126, I am done in the 1/4 mile for a lil bit. I am now focused on pulling on vipers and vettes from a roll.

JC, dont try to compare your car against 2K2. His car is a freak and is really fast for the mods he has. For an average car like mine, I ran with verter/headers and stock internals I ran 7.6 @ 88 with a 1.6x 60ft. Work on that 60ft a bit and you will do a lot better. Good luck!
