Default Coach's car meets Jenny Craig

Coach and I dropped 82 lbs out of his car today. Let me break it down for everyone

RCI racing 5-point harnes ---------- 6 lbs
Passenger Seat --------------------- 26 lbs
Front bumper Support --------------- 15 lbs
Rear Bumper Support ---------------- 17 lbs
Washer Fluid reservior (1/2 full) -- 7 lbs
Fog Lights ------------------------- 6 lbs
Sway bar brackets ------------------ 5 lbs

It took the two of us 2 hours and a 12 pack of longnecks to get all of this taken out of the car. I took pictures and documented the entire process so I will be putting those together to form a write up for those who want to pull the bumper supports from their car.

I see some 11.20's or 11 teens this weekend at HRP for Coach

XtraCajunSS: somehow I dont think Coach minds weighing as much as he does, If I was Mr. Oklahoma at one time I dont think I would mind weighing that much

Jason99T/A: I too will be sitting on the bench in hopes of one day playing with the car

Rpm2800: The car does not see the road very often (from what I have gathered) he just drives to work and back and trailers the car to the track (he races more than I change underwear haha)

fastlif: I took a lot of pictures and will be doing a write up on what all is needed to remove the bumper supports.

I'm not really familiar with the process of removing the bumper supports.... Is it a permenant type mod, or can they be put back in?

Even if he is a great driver, we are not on the roads alone... And this is Houston.

Lotta people here can barely get down the road sober. And I think most accidents occur close to home.

Besides safety, you risk frame damage or getting the car totalled from a minor accident that would not be as serious with the proper safety stuff.

I know some stuff in cars seems useless, but some things are there for a reason. I personally would not drive a car with saftey braces removed if I drove it on the street at all. But to each his own. Any ways have fun and be safe ... As you can be with braces removed.

Thanks to Bad Habit Bird (Sean) for all your help. I had a great time. Trace is upset that you did not have any Boston Cream Pie for Desert. HaHaHA. See you this weekend at HRP.

Shane and Jason,
The Sketetor mod will have to wait until I become incompasitated.HaHaHa! Will see, maybe!

RPM 2800,
I bought this Hot Rod to race it. I will be very careful when driving on the street. Thanks for your concern. I will not be driving it every day real soon.

Nineball,
Your welcome.

Trans Am WS6 420,
Yes, you can put them back in.

Good luck to everyone, Know matter what shop you are from.
