Default Anyone been in contact with Bauer Racing??

Has anyone had any contact with Bret Bauer at Bauer Racing? He has 3 throttle bodies of ours and I have not been able to get a response out of them for months. Any helpful information would be appreciated!

I emailed him well over a month ago and I haven't gotten a response. I've taken my business elsewhere.

Yeah, he seems to be very busy...I have my TB (took 5 weeks to get), but still don't have my core charge back. I guess I just have to be patient...

Default Mail Fraud

We have been unable to get a hold of Bret Bauer. His phone # has been disconnected and he does not answer our emails or messages. As a result, I can only assume he has ripped us off.

We are filling out a USPS federal postal fraud complaint and encourage anyone else that has been ripped off and mailed their throttle body or core through USPS to do the same:

http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/

I would not recommend anyone deal with him in the future due to these actions.

We spoke with the LS1TECH admins and they indicated they pulled his ad when he failed to remit payment and they could not get a hold of him at his contact address/phone #.

I hate getting ripped off. Burns me up!

I got my intake ported at AMS. They did a great job and were really helpful. It ran me around $150. I thought about steping up to a LSX but If I did I wanted the 90MM and I didnt have the cash and its too big for the car right now. Once I get my new cam then Ill step up to the LSX.

Well thank god I got my TB back from him...I know I waited about 2 months for mine, while hearing that its almost done, or I have been having family problems, and then just stop responding.

Oh well, I had Nine Ball contct him and I had my TB in less than a week....Though the color sucked (he made an attempt to paint it NBM), I just wanted my TB back so thats cool

I guess when I get into dressing up my engine bay, i'll address the TB color

01RedWS6, what kind of gains did you see with the porting? I'm waiting to step up to the FAST when I go bigger cubes(408 or a 427 is in the plans for her, god the number 427 just looks sexy).

Fast Toys, whats the outcome of your dealings so far with Bauer? Since he's local I am interested in getting him to port my TB, am interested if he's being a stand up guy for you, or if I should continue to avoid doing business with him. Feel free to PM me if thats more convenient. Appreciate it.

Bret told me that my business was not a priority because he had other "thousand dollar" business to do. He didn't reply to any of my emails for months and in the end somehow blamed me . He also said he is not doing throttle bodies any more because it is not worth his time.

As such, I wouldn't recommend him. He said he will send my throttle bodies out COD so if I get them, I can put this to rest.
