Default Removing cylinder heads...

I cannot, for the life of me, remove the 10 15mm botls that hold down the cylinder heads. I've been trying with a 3/8 ratchet with a 12" extension and I cannot budge it at all. It's really becoming really frustrating!!!!

Do I need to buy a 1/2 ratchet to maybe get more torque in there? Or, is there another easier way I can go with to remove the cylinder head?

Haaaa...yeah you're gonna need a bigger wrench my friend. Can you get a 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar? That'll make life much easier for you.

Get yourself a big old breaker bar with a 1/2in drive and a good socket, they will come right off.

You will also need a torque wrench to put them back on, with a similar socket, and a breaker bar for the 90deg turns when reinstalling the bolts.

Well, I used a 3/8 rachet, NOT a breaker bar

Try with that then we'll talk.

It was a 10 inch breaker bar. I did not want to break my $150 wrench.
