Re: stroker ?
Maybe you could help us out by posting a link to this website, because according to the search engine on lunaticams.com there are two (2) products for the ls1. Searching for "ls1" turns up a 4340 forged crankshaft, and a page of ls1 cams.

Re: stroker ?
To me it also looks like they have a stock sized forged crank p/n JH711ER
But they could offer different comp ratios <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: stroker ?
kumar , i will very interested in knowing how it turns out as i am at the point that i have to make a decision on what to throw into my 2000 block.
the old chev 396 was a real power /torque monster
a very nice balance regarding <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> stroke/bore

Re: stroker ?
IF i were you i would take a serious look at the 396 LS1 that Jason 98 TA at Texas Speed is putting out soon, that just pulled 481rwhp and 450 torque, using a 6 liter ironblock bored out .060 over and using a stock crank and off setting it.
THat thread is going on now as we speak and this seems like a KILLER reliable, economical set up, where you don't have to worry about dropped sleeves, etc nad your putting out numbers that many 422s are putting out.
