Default StreetPro Exhaust Cutout *Video

Today we finished the install of the StreetPro street/strip cutout. IMO this cutout is the highest quality cutout on the market. I shouldn't have any problems with this one (unlike the others)! I showed the difference with the cutout open and closed in the video. With the cutout closed, the exhaust runs through a Borla Catback w/ a plate that has 3 1/4" drilled holes. The video is attached.

Thanks StreetPro!

Thanks! The car has a 3200 Vigilante Converter. I plan on putting the car on a dyno soon (before I put the turbo on). I will get some numbers with the cutout open and closed.

First time seeing one of those in action. It's definitely a need little setup.. I'll more than likely run one of those when I switch back over to the stock catback.

Sweet video also..

What is your idle set at? Seems super high (900+), can't even hear any lope.

To be quite honest I could barely tell a difference between the vids. Car sounds awesome either way.

The idle is set high. The reason you don't hear much lope is because the motor is a low comp. built 6.0L with a small (224/224 112) cam. I am in the process of switching cams and adding a turbo. The idle is set high so the car will actually stay running. I notice a huge difference when opening the cutout (and so do my neighbors) The reason you couldn't tell much of a difference is because the camera was behind the car at all times. One exits under the car and the other behind the car. There also wouldn't be a HUGE difference because I decided not to close off my exhaust. I did not like the sound of a completely closed Borla Plate. I had to go with a plate that was about 50% open. If I were to completely close off the Borla, it would be a night and day difference with the cutout open and closed.

What size cutout did you get from Streetpro? Are you using your stock Y or an Off Road Y?
I was thinking about getting QTP Headers with their Electric Cutout Y, but due to cost thinking about a cheaper set of headers and offroad y and getting streetpros as the dual cutouts.

The cutout is 3" and I have an off road y-pipe with Jet Hot headers.
