Default Killed Fox Body Mustang, nitrous, slicks.skinnies...BAD

mid 80's Fox Body, said he ran 11.7 on motor and had a 100 shot (I would assume more...whats the point of a 100 shot on a mid 11 sec car??). he had full suspension, slicks and skinnies, etc. We went out, raced, and I had him by 6-8 cars. He said his coolant was overflowing, too hot...so I think we are going to do it again next week. We both were on the hose. I got him 3 cars instantly from the dig...I didn't really expect that since I am on radials.

I pulled a 1.59 60' on my drag radials at 18 psi, on a hot/humid day at the track with a 150 shot...I can launch on the street just about as hard on the radials.

Thanks Unit 213...I got my cutout back on so it was all quiet..he was pretty surprised until I opeded it after the burnout. Got a fresh 15 lb bottle, put on a valve cover breather (for insurance) and everything is running great. Can't wait to get up to Livernois to get my tuning done with new pcm. I may be going to Milan Dragway on the first Sunday in October (right after my tuning) with some friends...never been there before...is it a pretty good track? How closely do they tech on Sundays?

Milan has greatly improved. My buddy has cut 1.19 60's there so traction is possible. That was in a bone stock LS1. Just kidding...it was a racecar. Tech inspection is a joke. I've had a guy tell me to pop the hood then proceed to ask if I had nitrous with the kit clearly in view. I said no. He said thanks and I closed the hood.

there's a guy out of new jersey that broke the record in a turbo notchback that ran high 7's on drag radials.

Sounds like he cant drive....Even though it is a rustang he should have done better then that. Reminds me of a time I raced a 4cyl fox body. I though something was wrong when i was 12+ cars ahead and only 40mph

Good to hear! I hope they don't tech me at all...only thing I have is a DS safety loop and a fire jacket...hope they prep it on Sundays. I really want a 10.6 or so at 130+.
