Default rough idle

I have a friend with a 99 SS and its idleing a little bit rough almost like a miss but not as bad or as steady. Anybody have any clue on what this could be? We checked the fire to the plugs and MAF and turned out not to be the problem so now we are stuck.

That is a bit of an understatement

Surprising you don't have any codes though.

pull the connections on the battery and leave them off for 10-15 mins. then hook them back up. your car will run like **** for a min. let her idle, shut her off. start her back up, let her idle for a few minutes, then drive her around for a few minutes, no high rpm driving, just normal stuff(ie normal for OTHER types of cars....2-3k rpms....), then get on her a few times. what you're doing is having your car re-learn all its tables. hopefully this will help solve the problem while avoiding a plug swap. those can get aggrivating. if this doesn't help....check your sensors....then do the plugs/wires....
