Default New MTI G1 cam?

MTI has a new cam out with Int Dur=228, Exh Dur=232, Int lift=588, Exh lift=575, and LSA=113. Does anyone have this cam yet? If so what kind of numbers are being produced on the dyno or track? How do ya'll think this one might run???

Thanks....

MTI installed our G1 a little over two months ago. It's not a huge Cam and we've been very pleased with our results. We dynoed 370's through cats and LS1 intake. 380's after the LS6 intake. 390's after the cutouts.(RWHP unlocked)

I'm sure they are stock heads, I witnessed a 04 GTO pull 392rwhp with the G1 and bolt on's and stock heads.

Yes, with stock heads. We tried to slow the car down after our 11.449 run tonight, but even through the cats we ran a 11.466@117.82 after the temp dropped in the mid 50's.

if i am not mistaken...some one at MTI chime in...the G1 cam is the exact same cam that is used in the new 455 stroker setup they have going!!!...there is an awesome soundclip of the idle on there site for the G1 cam...(btw is that with the stroker or all stock internals except for the cam?) I've heard somewhat what it sounds like through trueduals....i wanna see how ittll sound through LT's cats or no cats and GMMG

The G1 cam is the cam, they put in the 455 stroker '04 GTO, it made 535 rwhp through cats and full exhaust. Another interesting tid bit, it made 400 rwhp and 400 lb-ft of torque at 2,000 rpm!

blazeone is correct, the '04 GTO has a cast number #241 on the heads were a LS6 has a cast #243. I looked at doing a LS6 conversion but this G1 sounds sweet...I wonder how it idles.
