Default 8.1ltr in an Fbody

8.1 liter out of a HD truck to go into a 4th gen fbody. Is it imposible, or can it be done. Or if it has already been done. let me know what you guys think

I've seen a 572cid crate engine in a 4th gen if it was done a 8.1L can be done it has all the same external dimensions. It has the engine old style engine mount bolt pattern and the same bell housing bolt pattern. Check out the truck section similar subjects have come up lately.

sweet. I got a rolling chasis and thinking about doing this. so hopefully it will all work out

That is going to be one nose-heavy car. But a brute.

I know BMR makes some K-members for SBC/BBC swaps
into 3rd gens, dunno if they have stepped up for 4th
gens yet.

Its going to be heavy bit it will sound bad ***. Make sure you go with true duals or no muffler at all....

I know that someone put one in a C5. When it was all said and done it cost more that a 427 LS1 and made less power. Not sure what the point of it was
