In my own opinon i would go with the aftermarket. The people i have seen running a large cam or cam/heads like you need the aftermarket one. My belt tryes its best to come off the tensioner at the track so that is going to be one of my next upgrades. I dont think the factory one is good for cars that see over 6500 rpm's. Just my 2 cents though.

I have the katech and tighting the belt correctly was a problem with me, since I had no torque wrench to tight belt to correct specs, but if you are making alot of horsepower then take flexybronc advice and get a katech, other then that I would have gone with stock tensioner, but the katech does look really nice, I also got thier pulley.
