Default Doing head/cam upgrade what all do i need

so i will be doing this package and me and mr2guru were trying to think of everything i would need to do this and not have to do anything else for a long time. can you guys think of anything else i should get right away?

MTI custom 114lsa "X" cam with the 2E heads.

Kooks long tube headers

Spec stage 3 clutch

ngk plugs = ? wich ones?

ls2 timing chain

what else should i get to not have to go back in there and upgrade anything for a long time?

this is on a 2004 gto.

Most people get the NGK TR-55's for NA applications, otherwise use TR-6's for N02

It is a colder plug, i believe it helps warn off detonation, at least it puts you at a slighter risk, I don't know what it would do to performance

yeah, and these heads are not a FORCE air head they are more of a MOVE EXHAUST out head... so i dont know if i would worry about knock too much but it would be nice to know there is less risk.

i meant, what additional parts should i get if i am doing the heads.. like oil pump? thermostat? pulley? things like that?

to do the swap we are most likley going to pull the motor out of the car, this will make wrenching on the motor easier and the clutch/header swap ALOT easier.

get new cam bolt (ARP is reusable), front cover gasket, cam seal, head gaskets....need to get new head bolts (I suggest ARP, about $139 from Jegs), lube for head bolts, probably install 160 thermostat since you will obsiously get tuning, oil, coolant, ac recharge since you will be removing engine, ASP underdrive pulley would be a good idea, should be able to reuse intake/valve cover/ gaskets...

i am pretty sure all the bolts that need to be replaced are included. all the gaskets are there. is there no way to pull the motor without messing with the ac? i wont be touching the condenser..if it comes down to that i might have to just do the work with the motor inside the car.

The condenser can be moved out of the way for the cam...but he wants to do the clutch also, so it may just be easier to do everything with the motor out. I've got a picker and stand so no big deal.

So far I've put together heads, cam, pushrods, front cover gasket, intake gasket, valve cover gaskets, water pump gaskets, head bolts, crank bolt, head gaskets, front cover crank seal, oil pump pickup o-ring. Probably don't NEED all those but new gaskets are cheap insurance. We need to get LS2 chain (it may already have one?), plugs.
