Default Oil Pressure at idle help! (w/pic)

this is the lowest it has ever been in the car.. normally is it right at 40 or just a teeny bit under it... is this a bad sign that the oil pump it about to die? I am within 400 miles or so of the next oil change ( every 3k) would it just be worn out oil?

The car has about 84k on it

Thanks!

could be anything from pump to bad bearings

hmm.. so bottom end really or the pump... it is does get worse I'll see what I can do.. I would guess a 6.0 block would be not a bad upgrade with a decent cam if I had to replace it

Its fine.. As long as it is at least 20psi at idel. And it goes up when you rev it.

You could also check your oil level.

Stock guage is not accurate.(only on 98s) For a true reading you need to get a scanner such as hp tuners.

For 84k miles, thats not bad at all. Its just bearings wearing. At this rate you're good for another 100k miles!
