Here's the new mods on the BMF...

Now, I'm just waiting on my AMW catch can and my Wideband Commander. I might be looking for a little more boost shortly, too.

Oh... and I heard a rumor that Jimbob might have some Cylinderheads in the area, too. You know what that means... the search for holy LT1 cam should resume in a month or so

Man... pretty soon we might have an H2 in the top 10 list. How sweet would that be?

Tell me you at least had a few beers while you were installing all that.

A H2 spinning the tires how sweet! Did you get the blower for towing power or for play and show?

No beers were consumed during the installation of any of this stuff. Beers were definitely consumed afterwards... at least by me.

The supercharger is to get this slug moving. I just can't stand a 17.7 second truck. As for runing in the 12's... I would have had to have gone to a turbo for that. Or break out the holesaw again (anyone who's seen the vette knows the damage I'll do to get it lighter!). I just wanted a truck that scoots and if I can manage to hit the high 13's with everything still in it and good reliability... great! If I only see mid to low 14's that's cool, too.

To ge the 12's the answer is a big turbo or a smaller twin set up. LPE can run 12's with theirs. I will run 12's with mine if and only if the Iraqi government stops playing around gets profitable. Then my investment will grow and I'll have the money to play kit engineering games.

It's not just them the oil companies are shutting down refinaries to bring the price up as well, they want to hit $3/gal before summer I'm guessing . Should be illegal but I'm sure they're finding loop holes "Oh it's down for maintenance and inspection"

Gas mileage is on par with any 6400 lb or larger vehicle. Around town I get about 10mpg average. Lots of hills in my area and that means I'm in boost alot. There are lots of fun little flat areas too so that means lots of boost time as well If I am cruising in the 65-75 mph range on relatively flat highway I see up to 14 mpg. Unless I'm driving into strong wind, then it looses about 1 mpg

The funny thing is that my old white 3/4 ton with the 383 and Brodix heads only got 10-12 mpg. This one seats up to 6 and keeps your backside toasty if you want it. The old truck gave you the vinyl "*** sweats" whether you wanted it or not
