Poly Trans Mount good idea?

Poly Trans Mount good idea?
I have a Custom Shift Kit that hits extremely hard on the 1-2 shift. The other night at the track, I had on some ET Streets. On the 1-2 shift on one of my runs, I swear I heard a "clunk" and felt something hit the floorboard, my guess is the trans mount.
Question is, if I get under there Monday and see that it is the mount, should I replace it with a poly? I've already got poly motor mounts, and I don't know if I want any more vibration. Would a good replacement rubber mount hold up for a little while? I'm on a stock stall, BTW.

window weld- do a search on it-
my window welded stocker is PERFECT after sooooo many hard launches w/nittos.
minimal vibration, can be found at any auto paint store (it is used for putting car windshields in).
= costs 15$ and takes a couple days to dry...
i SWEAR the window weld thing should be a sticky. i don't see how anybody puts up with those poly mounts- i had mine for 2 days before i took it out.

With the poly it takes alittle while for it to loosen up. Mine was alittle tough at first, but doesn`t bother me at all. It will last longer for sure! I busted my stock mount right off. To much power with slicks!!

my Energy Suspension mount drives like a fat chick doing jumping jacks, it shakes everywhere. I believe mine also shakes so bad that it's detecting misfires and it causes my converter to randomly unlock sometimes

I mean all the vibrations under normal driving. I dont go over 100 mph very much so if it feels bad up there ill be ok or are you talking about good qualities of it? im sure ill notice good things once I get on it more. letting the converter break in a bit b4 i get on it a lot. ie. drags or slicks.
