Default Found my Misfire Problem...Pushrod

After changing coil, wires, plugs, maf, cats, and 02 sensors, decided to pull the valve cover...low and behold...the #6 cylinder that kept misfiring...broke a pushrod...

I got something to make you feel better https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/296794-what-knocking.html

That's what I did to mine... oh the lessons learned when doing your own work... of course this gave me the reason to get the new 6.0L forged 370 iron block that is arriving tomorrow

I know how u feel man Arcticz my 98z28 engine is totally screwed i cant even rebuild the thing when it has a pretty large hole on the side of the block. So i'm in search of a used low mile LS1 i cant afford to do a major hi po engine. But my car is similar to yours. Your car looks really smooth look pretty sharp. heres what mines looks like http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/607476 Hopefully when i take the motor out ill get pics of the hole. i am not sure what caused it to go i dont really beat on my car usally go to E-town like 1 once a year and its been a year since i have went to take the car to the strip. Car has 92k so its been sitting for the whole month of april so car engine went on april fools day worst day i had in awhile. I hope u get ur Z fixed up Artic.

How did you know there was a misfire? Was it very noticible? Would I be able to know if I had a bent pushrod from just listening to the motor idle?
