I like the 5.0 with the short stick. the 5.0 has bump stops tell from bending shift forks in the transmission.

I voted for the pro 5.0 but I would recommend someone to get a short stick for their Hurst. I felt one and it seemed almost as good as my 5.0 for about $160 less.

IMO the Hurst is absolute garbage. I ran a Pro 5.0 with a UMI stick in both my cars.

Ripper Im putting my vote in for the B&M. I dont know about the other shifters, but when the B&M is in neutral, it sits in right in the middle of the gearbox. When I have to downshift, I have NO worries about finding third because I know where it will be. Not that I would have to downshift for any reason though.

Pro 5.0 and cut the handle. Not sure what the short stick gets past cutting the handle.

Even shorter than a cut Pro 5.0 handle.

I talked to a buddy of mine. He recommended the 5.0 and the UMI short stick....He is currently running that in his 02 WS6 and he absolutely loves it....So I am going for the same set up!!

Pro 5.0 w/ UMI short stick! My choice.

I have had a few shifters. My favorite so far is the Hurst Competition Plus Gold. Just feels the smoothest to me, add short stick if prefered.

I have that same setup with a hurst classic **** and love it. At first it rattled at wot but a prothane trans mount fixed that. Just remember to keep your elbow in (up against your side) on the 2-3 upshift and you will never miss third.

Quick question, how many shifters out there have the 2-3 no miss shift? Is it only Pro 5.0?
