Default how's my clutch and flywheel look??

just pulled the tranny today... ready to start my rebuild. i'm a newbie so i have no idea what a used clutch should look like. car has 112,000 miles so i'm assuming the clutch isn't stock. to me it looks like **** and so does the flywheel. also, part of the slave cylinder is cracked as you can see in the pics, anyone know what could have caused this? thanks!

It is hard to tell with a picture about the clutch, but the slave has some real problems. It should look something like this.

Pretty sure those hot spots aren't good on that flywheel. You could try and get it resurfaced if the prior owner hasn't already done so. Either way, welcome to a valid excuse to get a new badass clutch.

If you put a new clutch on, with the stock flywheel, get the 2 balance together before you assemble - sometimes people run into problems if they don't.

Did you notice that your disc is broke? The steel hub inside the disc is sticking out you can see it on the picture below the flywheel. You never noticed this?? It should have been making some noise. Good thing you pulled the clutch.

yeah, it's definitely broke. I don't know how i missed it. I even had a guy at a shop look at it today and he didn't notice it. thanks. Well I guess that makes my decision on whether or not to replace it easier. I brought the flywheel in today to be resurfaced. Will it be necessary for me to replace the pressure plate?

I would change the Pressure Plate if it was mine. You are already there doing the clutch job, do you really want to do half of the job and possibly have problems down the road?

Good luck let us know how it turns out.
