I have the power tower and IMO in stock trim if feels just right. I'd say you could safely cut down 1 1/4" off of the stock 5.0 piece.
I don't have a short stick, but IMO it isn't worth the $40 some sponsors are charging with the package when you could just cut down the 5.0 piece.
I could snap some pics if you'd like.
