most of the popular grinds have done it with the right combo of bolt ons and tunes; x3, fm13, torquer, trex, ect.

i've got dyno's from all of them. been done but its not the norm.

I know of one board member, but he does not wish to expose himself. So, well, I can't really tell you. Sucks, because if it was me, I'd want you all to benefit from my gains. I'm not too sure of his cam specs...I think I heard him say something along the lines of 231/237. But he knows who he is...if he wants, he'll come out.

04 Z06 + G5X3 (921s) + LG Longtubes + ASP pulley + Vararam +Tune by ECS + TR55 + VR Velocity Stack - cats = 402.8 rwtq and 434.7 rwhp

As you can see, I'm new here, but am a member of Z06vette.com for a long time.

The info on this site is better inasmuch as it appears that there are many more doers than payers . . . Not to imply that Z06vette.com is not an awsome site

Welcome to the site. z06.com is nice but once you decide on your cat back you can check out (IMHO) outside of that ruthless AFR thread they let stand a while back.

Stout numbers. Nice set up too.
Graph?

I think mine would come close with tune....but still probably 5-10 ft/pounds short.
226/234 554/575 112
Made 376.8 RWHP and 370.8 ft/pounds on the stock tune. That was before porting the TB as well.

i do not have a scanner

graph indicates max tq at approx 4870 rpm and max horse at 6400

air fuel is illegible, since scaling is compacted on my printout

BTW- I kept the ti exhaust, which IMHO is the best bet. I had stingers and w/ out the cam, I thought they were too noisy.

Now the car sound insane, but the volume of the insanity is not too high.

That's nice and all, but unfortunately it doesn't help most LS1techers because while your heads may be stock, they are stock LS6 heads. Not many of us can say that.

I noticed that right after I posted. I wonder if it's for another car or another person....or maybe he wanted to get THE most torque possible.

If he has AFRs (which are supposedly superior to LS6 heads), with a G5X3 shouldn't he make much more power than I'm making? (460 rwhp)

He does have an ls6 intake, same headers . . .

I wondering about compression ration and chamber size?

My cam is a 222/222 566/566 112. Rick at Livernois told me that he actually gained torque going from the z06 titanium from the stingers.....
I was asking just because you don't see many "note the torque" with this cam posts. My car came with the ls1 heads, as do most here, so thats where I was coming from really but I wanted to know ls6 head results as well so thanks for your input.
My 61cc chamber (-011 deck height) and .045 cometics yields 11.3:1 compression. It is widely accepted that the AFR's are superior to the LS6 heads (head for head) BTW. But 460 HP is more complicated and expensive than just that.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/327229-stock-02-z06-afr-heads-414-rwhp.html, etc......

I did not run a gx3 because I did not want to notch my pistons but I wanted as much compression and torque as possible down low. But 460hp w/ a gx3 is a HUGE stretch for me unless I was running EVERY bolt on including the POS (IMHO) FA$T intake, NW T-body, Velocity stack (haha J/K) and the best (AFR) heads (shaved to 59cc as LG recommends w/ cut pistons), Tuning, electric w. pump, MOJO,....bla bla bla

BTW Fallen if you consider making torque making power (as I do) I am making more power that you with my cam (just sayin')
