Default dual a pillar guage pod, is mine screwed up?


first off i have a t-top car, on the left is my stock a pillar thingy. notice the area with the 3 holes in it for the t-top. is mine on the right suppost to have it? (i would think so but u never know)



the hole right here is waaayyy to big. the vent goes straight through it. anyone else have this problem?

It looks like its just made to go over your stock piller.. Which is why there are no 3 holes and the vent hole is bigger so it will fit the whole vent cover inside..

Nope..its made like that so it'll fit over your stock a-pillar. They should of also included some push-in pins..you have to drill a hole threw both the new and stock pillar..and the push pins will hold it in place.

ahhh, i got that from summit, its an autometer one. Part number ATM-12212. Sounds good, thanks guy!

Yep, thats just how they are. I reccomend a 4 or 5 point harness with A Plr gage pods because A Plr is a head impact zone. It can rip your face off in a crash.

ouchhhh...when/if i get a cage ill be doubly sure to get harnesses (?) quickly. thanks for the warning.

You can run a 4 or 5 point with a harness bar, check out the pics in my sig. I think it was about $250. Cheap face insurance.
