By the way, I'd recommend grabbing this converter from Matt if you could. He's local also, he is actually in New Lenox. I installed this converter and watched it go down the track on slicks. The car went 11.73 with an LS6 Manifold, Headers/Duals, Shift Kit, Lid/Cold air and a 2.73 Gear. I drove it around before he took it back from me, and the converter is awesome to drive on the street. It isnt to lose for daily driving at all. I would have no problem putting that in my car if i wasnt selling it. If you need anything else, please PM me, I highly doubt ill catch this thread again.

Last year with a 3000 converter and street tires I was running in the 12.40's with my 'Vette. Over the winter I swapped out the 3000 for a 3500 and got a set of Nitto drag radials for the rear. This year with the new converter and stickier tires, I'm running consistent 12.0x's with a best being a 12.015. With the cooler weather, I expect to break into the 11's this fall.

The only things you'd change with a converter might be shift points or torque management. It's not like other mods that require a tune to get the correct air fuel ratio, timing, etc.
