License Plate Cover... more
I have seen alot of your trans ams and such. And have noticed that you have the firebird logo where your front plate should be. Is that illegal first of all (nebraska), and 2nd of all where do you get it , or is it a body kit?

They all had the cover originally. Depending on the state, it may have stayed on the car or not. For example, Virginia requires two plates and North Carolina requires one. NC would have the cover on the car when it was sold and Va would not. I bought mine off of ebay for around 50 bucks in the matching color. www.afterthoughtsauto.com also sells a clear cover (identical to the cover your referring to, but clear). They sell blemished covers, cheaper, that can be painted to match the car. Other than that, seems to be a hard item for people to get their hands on.

for the first 3 years i had my ta i had the front cover on the car. and every time without fail if i passed an illinois state trooper they would go out of there way to ticket me for it.there was a couple times that they actually cut across like for lanes of traffic to get to me. the tickets were 75 dollars a pop so i figured after over 500 dollars in fines i decided to put my license plate back on and save some money.
