well you need all of your bolt ons first. I would do that along with suspension.

In order ... P/H rod > LCA's > LT headers > ORY > Borla Catback > clutch upgrad > port TB > lid and filter. If you're doing the work yourself (and IMHO you should) this should take care of the 3 grand.

jrp is right, $3k wont' get you as far as you may think. This game is expensive.

If you plan to take it to the drag strip much your best start is a GOOD clutch and rear end, but those two things alone will easily use your entire $3k budget. Depending on which clutch you get, etc, you could spend about $4k on clutch/rear end.

This is all I will recomend, unless you get more specific with your end goals. For a fun/powerfull street car I'd get all the power bolt-ons, subframe connectors, new clutch, and then either suspension mods to make it handle better or a cam. It all depends on what, exactly, you want to do with the car.

Invest in government bonds? Just kidding.

Very Simple: GMMG exhaust, Dry nitrous, 3.73 gear , Crane handheld tuner.

Please don't buy a handheld, there is better tuning software out there. GMMG is good, but it is rather expensive for a cat-back.

Been there done that. Trust Me, the Crane handheld tuner comes with 4 different cam programs, mild to semi wild. Just in case you add one of their cams down the road. Check it out.

Would you mind providing links/proof on these prices? $2k for stage 2 LS6 heads AND cam AND goodies? A complete cam swap kit with chain and pump will be close to $1k by itself, though a couple hundred can be saved by sticking with stock pump/chain. What about install of heads/cam?

Where can you get a dyno tune for $200?

No offense, but you are not going to get away with all that stuff for $3k. There are a lot of little things that will add to that, along with the questionable prices quoted.

Ahhh, patriot peformance LS6 "style" heads.

Personally I'd stay away from PP. For budget heads I kinda like TEA.

Reading all the links in jrp's sig will help you quite a bit.
