Default My first dyno

I just bought a 98 Z28 (automatic) last week and yesterday had the opportunity to put it up on a dyno. I'm a little confused with the results. I searched the forums for info but could not find a good "how to" thread. Any feedback is appreciated!

Here's the printout I got:

The horsepower looks pretty normal for a 98 Automatic. The torque is all wrong, way low.

Who did the dyno and what brand of dyno was used?

Yeah, something is wonky, that's partially why I'm confused.

I went first thing yesterday morning. Some friends in an import club needed another car to get a group discount, so I tagged along. My husband dyno'd his 92 RS with the same group on their last dyno day at SMS, and his numbers were dead on. Different guy running the dyno this time though.

well, im not sure if they set up the dyno different for different types of cars....but did you happen to dyno it after an import? thats the only thing i can think of. i normally goto SMS since its the cheapest dyno around, its like 65 bucks, right?

Nope, I was the first one to go. I was one of two RWD cars, and I had to get over to Portsmouth to meet my husband, so I was the first one on. No import cooties got me.

I like SMS too, they're nice guys. They have not worked on my Z28 or my husband's car, but I had planned on bringing mine in for some work there when I start doing mods.

edit: And yes, the standard rate for three pulls is $65.

well, for one thing, the bottom of the sheet should be RPM's, not MPH...thats just a standard thing (to me atleast). but something def isnt right, i would take it back to them for sure.

i was going to have them work on mine, but they didnt know how to weld in LCA relocation brackets, so i had to get under the car and show them...and they dont work on many fbody's so i decided to do the work myself

Yes, the sheets I've seen before always had RPM at the bottom.

Thanks for the input, it's much appreciated.
