Surge valve/ Bypass
What surge valve comes on at lower RPMs? Right now I am running a Turbo XS RFL BOV and it comes on at 1500, I know now why I can't run it though. I was thinking of getting the Mondo bypass valve since everyone says it is loud but at what RPM can you let off the gas and hear it? Is there any other options besides Vortech and ATI for these things? Any sound clips?

The ati bypass is adjustable, and i have mine set so it closes soon as I go wot. It opens soon as it senses vacuum, "when you let off of wot." I dont hear mine unless its reved up enough, cars pretty loud. If i had it to do again id get the mondo, sounds cool and its cheaper too.

I have the Mondo and it dumps right back into the blower inlet. I can not hear it at all, but I can see on the datalog when it dumps, because my recorded MAP spikes down every time it opens.
Of course, things are a bit loud at 6100rpm... but I don't hear any of the chirping and gurgle that other people talk about.

SS leadfoot - You don't have to buy the flange but it is a very clean fitting piece and is thick enough to be welded to something. I ended up using it as a precision spacer.
