Oil consumption after cam swap.
I installed a F-13 about 2 months ago. My car (98 M-6 80,000 mi) has never lost any oil before, now it is down 3/4 of a quart after 1600 miles. I don't notice any smoke coming from the exhaust. Do you think one of the valve seals is the culprit. Thats my only guess. It isn't leaking at all, so it has to be getting into the engine somehow. I guess I'll pull my plugs and take a look. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had my car re-ring and it didnt burn a drop after that.
I notice about 800 miles after my cam change, I was low maybe a 1/2 quart.
I did not check the oil level right after the cam change and wondered if it was the oil lost during the oil pump exchange and a little break in time.
I changed the oil about 500 miles ago, and no oil burning.

Problem solved. I just realized that i F---ed up when I put the seals on. They were all the same color so i though it didn't matter where the went. Turns out the exhaust seals are slightly taller. At least now I know what I'll be doing Satrday morning.
