Car rocking during decelleration....
Mods in sig.
In pretty much any gear, when I'm decellerating (no brakes), while in gear, at low rpm (1200 or so), the car rocks back and forth a few times and makes a metal on metal contact, "clunk clunk" sound.
Nothing real loud or rough, but it feels like something is loose back there. Any ideas? Could it be the lower control arms?
I hope it's not a rear end issue.

Engine mounts are tight. tq arm bolts and mount is tight.
Could it just be normal slack in the drivetrain?
Also, how much oily stuff should be on the tq arm. I've never cleaned it or anything. It's covered with oil and dirt about halfway up it from the rear end. It's not dripping or leaking or anything. I've just never looked at it. Probably normal after 3 1/2 years of driving.

No poly mounts.
And it really doesn't do it all the time, only every once and a while when I'm coasting at lower rpms.
It just feels like something has slack in it somewhere.
