Question what rods???

what is everyone running?
i had the lunati pro mods, the seemed to hold up very well. anyone making big power with other rods?

Im trying the new Callies Compstar. They seem like nice rods especially for the price.

i saw those, i spoke with a guy from their, he seemed like he had no idea. i asked hi questions, and he couldnt tell me why those rods where better then say eagle or lunate. but it seems the rods are nice.

how do they compair with lunati?
are they an h-beam design?
i ran the pro mod non h-beam style

I run carrillo rods. They are an h beam design that are pretty strong. You can use just about any aftermarket rod until you get up to close to 1k rwhp. My friends use eagle rods with over 600 rwhp. I think that good rod bolts are the most important thing to spend some extra money on.

yhea, rod bolts are important. i had the lunati ones they held up pretty well

I'm a little surprised to hear that. A lot of effort has been invested in educating our sales staff about all of our products. Here's a link to a thread with a couple of pics and some info about the rods.

maybe i got someone on an off day. just didnt seem to know much about the rod.
i was looking for weights, how strong, ect ect.
he only seemed to know how much, and if they where in stock.
but anyway, maybe you can help me out.
im looking to make 800-1000 rwhp. will these do it with reliable parts all around them? it will be with lots of spray
