Want to upgrade to an 8-rib

The ATI upgrade kit is $350.00 for everything to upgrade from the 6 rib to the 8 rib assembly. You will the then also need a new harmonic balancer to work with the upgrade, which is produced by ATI Performance Products, which is a different company. This harmonic balancer goes for $475.00, and you can get it in a 10% underdrive version, which is what we normally do. The 10% underdrive version will require two new longer accesssory drive belts, and we keep the Napa belt numbers for these two belts at the shop for quick reference. Bob

SDCE has one for $675.00 complete. Be prepared to have your car down for a solid month. You have to ship them your tensioner bracket for them to modify. But it sure sounds a lot better with the new tensioner, no more bearing rattle.
