I've got the LM now. I like it with my setup now but I'm getting ready to install headers and a ORY. So I see a XR1 or a new cat-back in the future. I've heard the GMMG on the ZL1 Stage 3 cars and I think they sound bad ***. You have it what do you think about it? If they wasn't so pricey I would have got one of those instead of the LM. Just my .02cents

Loudmouth sounds great at start up and idle, but at WOT it's really raspy, especially with LT's not cats. I had it on my 94 T/A and is had a terrible drone at 2000rpm's and was annoying on highway cruises.

Well, I wont base it on what I have(GMMG), like you requested, but when I decided to ditch my B&B triflow, the LM never entered my mind. I think thats my answer.

The strage thing is, most of the clips on LS1sounds.com for the LM are NOT raspy at all.
I've downloaded most of the site, and in all honesty the LM ranks as one of the best sounding (in video clip terms). The only better sounding one IMO is the GMMG. But not by much.

GMMG exhaust is overrated and overpriced. If they sold it for 400 bucks I would buy. LM is loud and priced just right. I refuse to pay that kind of money for a GMMG. It sounds nice but thats about it. Now the Rumbler sounds better then the LM and at 200 bucks it aint a bad price. I would then use the 400 and some change to get me a cam or something. Paying 600 bucks for a exhaust sys Y pipe at that aint worth it.

I think you could come away with alot better sound and save quite a few dollars if you ran a loudmouth setup with a sweet thunder or stainless works chambered muffler insted of the slp piece. Vote is still 12 to 3, LM sucks.
