Anybody done TB Bump Stop mod?
I have been meaning to do this for a while with a scan tool. I was looking at the TB blade today while doing the TB coolant bypass and my throttle blade looks like it opens to about 75 degrees or so, definatly short of 90. I was wondering if anybody has proven gains or SOTP difference from this mod. It seems logical that it would make a big difference, as if to let your engine reach true WOT. Anybody have experience with good, noticible gains?

i'm planning on doing this mod as soon as i can get my hands on a scan tool.
it seems to me that it would free up a couple ponies, but probably will not be a big enough gain to feel on the "SOTP dyno"

I've done it. The best way to do it is with a voltmeter. I can't find the write up on it, but you should be able to...
I think its the blue wire from the throttle position sensor that you want to tap into with the voltmeter. Then keep grinding down the bumpstop and checking it every so often until you get to 4.7v. Anything more will be more than 90 degrees and set an SES light. I stopped at 4.69 volts and yes.... I could feel a difference. SOTP that is...
