I was only -3105 yesterday and a sorry -2272 right now. 
I use this site

and Weather Underground
http://www.wunderground.com
to get all the info. You can view the conditions on past days on Weather Underground as far back as the beginning of the year (at least).
You will need to know you elevation as well. Not a problem for me since I work w/ GPS every day.
