Default How many coats of Wax do you use?

I have only used 1 but thats because I deep cleaned, polish and waxed and did not have it in me to do another coat. How much better is it to do 2 coats of wax?

I have 3 coats of sealant and 2 coats of carnauba wax. I would do another coat the next time you wash. BTW what kinda wax are you using, some waxes (cleaner waxes) cannot be layered because the next layer will take off most or all of the first layer.

I rarely use more than 3 coats of any product.

Usually more than one coat is beneficial to both appearance and durability, but you reach a point of diminishing returns somewhere around 5-6 coats.

I usually wax about 3 times a week during the summer, that's just because I love waxing my car (it's a daily driver during the nice weather times) so I can go over my car and make sure there's no new rock chips needing to be touched up and such.

I used Deep Crystal System Carnauba Wax by Meguiars along with the other 2 steps. Since I just bough the car but the next time I want to use zanio or NXT. Not sure which one to go with.

I like to go carnauba over synthetic. But even if I just use carnauba, I still usually do two coats. If nothing else, it ensures good coverage.

I used Klasse + two coats of Collinite on my V6 Bird that I drive through the Michigan winters...

I think I am going to use NXT next time. Is it as easy to put on and take off as the carnbua wax, and do I have to strip off all the old wax before I put this on? How many coats should I do of NXT, I am feeling just two coats.

It depends on what I'm using.

NXT - 2 coats, but it doesn't layer well
Zaino - Base Z5 coat, Z6, Z2. MAYBE another Z2/Z6 layer after that.
FMJ - Two coats
Blackfire - Two coats

Honestly, if I've done my prep work correctly, anything more than two coats is a waste. The only reason I usually do two coats is in case I miss a spot with the first coat.
