Default will a tb affect my dynotune?

-sorry for the newbie question-

im planning on getting a 80mm tb real soon.do i need it before i do my dynotune?its a all bolt-on and cam car.stock heads.

should i barrow a 80mm tb tune for the tune?

I thihk you'll be just fine adding it later - but what intake are you bolting the 80 to?

A throttle body may affect the idling characteristics of your tune. Side effects may be stalling when coming to a stop or slight surging/hunting for the desired idle. You're not changing the WOT performance part of the tune...just the part the IAC sensor references.

LS6 intake

He speaks the truth. Happened to me.

Also, why the 80mm TB? Just a ported stocker is plenty good.

yeah i went from a stock tb to a ported tb and i was fully tuned and now my idle sucks

i was planning on porting my stock one.i have a few different write-up/how too's,but thought the 80mm would be better.

how far are people going on stock ported?

i have a bbk 80mm lined up for 200.00.

you can have your stock ported for like 80 dollars and it is going to flow almost identical to the 80 mm because the ls6 intake is only 78mm, correct me if i am wrong here guys...
