Default Question about VE and OLFA

Ok if I set my OLFA table to command 13 AFR which is 1.13 and I tune my VE table to get 13afr on my wideband. Then when I switch the OLFA table back to 1.0 to command 14.7 will the AFR go back to 14.7 or will it stay at 13.0 even though the commanded is at 13.0? Thanks guys.

VE is just a component of airflow measurement. It tells the PCM
how much air. OLFA says how much fuel, per air, commanded.
VE commands nothing. All you want is for it to be right, and then
use OLFA to express your intention. Noting that other enrichment
terms (PE, COT, etc.) may override it if they are the fattest kid
on the see-saw.

Ok i'm trying to tune my PE table. Here is an example I command 12.5 up till 4400rpm. I'm getting like say 13.8. Now when I change the VE table to get my 12.5 do I take 13.8/14.7 or do I take 13.8/12.5

isn't is actual/commanded? And since PE is a multiplier would it be the same?

Just fix the airflow side until what you get is what you asked for.
Presuming there is no fuel-side error.

Ok jimmy I got that I need to fix the VE table to get what I need. But since PE is a multiplier i'm wondering if I would take the actual AFR and divide it by the OLFA commanded of 14.7 or the PE commanded of 12.5. I just got thru doing the PE comanded and now i'm getting spots with like 10.5 afr.

if OLFA is richer than use it, if PE is richer use it...you have to find out which "fat kid" it is before calculating corrections
