yes, and no I don't know how to fix it. lol

But mine occasionally turns on but it usually turns itself off. Its annoying because its a very bright light.

reset the computer. Unless its electrical problems, that should take care of it.

The only time my security light stayed on was when my battery was getting ready to crap out.

I had that problem and also had problems getting the car to start. I ended up having to get the whole tumbler replaced. Not cheap.

... and what chupr0kabra means by "tumbler" is the lock cylinder in the steering column. Mine did the same ****.

One of the tech's has a problem and can't diagnose it? Wow. What do they pay him for again?

Check the BCM (Body Control Module.)

How do you reset the computer. Will resetting the comp have any affect on my shift points because i had them reset when i changed out my gears and had my car tuned.

whatever the problem is i hope it's not that serious and costly.

Search works wonders.

Anyway, turn key on but don't start car. Pull the PCM BAT and PCM IGN fuses in the engine compartment fuse box. Wait 10 minutes. Turn ignition off. Replace fuses.

Resetting the PCM will not affect your tune. Tunes are stored in flash memory, the only way to lose that is to reflash the PCM.
