I've got an MSD blaster coil but I doubt it makes a difference.

Although the optispark is highly criticized, it is already an extremely good ignition as far as the efficiency and how "hot" it is.

I ran the Hypertech coil on my old 91 SS454 pickup and it made a big difference. I bought one to put on my 96 SS and it's a different style so I have no use for it. If you're interested in it, I'll sell it for $55 shipped. I think the part # is 4055, I'll have to check when I get home. I've put hotter coils on almost every vehicle I've had and they definitely work better and keep emissions down and idle smoother and start easier.

Im thinking about doing an MSD blaster coil...one question Im loking in summit racings coil and they have single connector and dual connector....I know we only have one plug going to ours I think but are they talking about the prongs?

a part # will help to heres wat summit lists:
single = MSD-8231
dual = MSD-8226

I see in summit that that part # will work so if it is 4055 than I would probably get it, hypertech gives out a max spark of 53,000volts and a MSD blaster coil puts out 45,000 volts. so we'll see, I'll send ya a PM later one, gotta see how broke I am this week with the nitrous I jsut bought lol.
