Default asp underdrive pulley

does anyone know the length of the belt you need when you have an asp pulley installed?

the instructions that came with the asp gave me a gates part number but im looking to try a different belt. any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Access. Belt #
11-755K6 (75.5 inches long, 6 rib)
11-770K6 (77.0 inches long, 6 rib)
11-760K6 (76.0 inches long, 6 rib)

The above are the belt numbers that thunder has on thier site. The belt part number is actually the measurement of the belt - gates uses similar part numbers on thier belts. So you can ask for a particular belt length by editing the part number/length.

Napa Auto Parts sells Gates belts. I wanted a Gatorback but I heard Gates are good belts.

Just spent the morning (mainly running around to get the belt) doing this on my 383 LS6. I got the belt from AutoZone, Goodyear Gatorback Part # 4060755 is the one I used as it was the shortest. The 4060760 fit fine but I could see how that would flip off under hard acceleration.

The 755 is advised to be used unless you have an adjustable tensioner. The 760 often works its way off of the tensioner by a rib or two and with time will eat away the edge of the belt (unless you contantly check under your hood and put it back). Going with the 755 eliminates that. We suggest Goodyear Gatorback Belts as replacements.
