Everyone remember the totaled 06 Z06 I posted in Dec? 
My dad watched it at the insurance aution last week. Someone paid 36,000 for the salvage.
I saw the car and there was nothing salvageable on the motor other than the long block. the front frame was trashed. its always going to have a salvage title. I figured 15-20k but not 36K.

I see a motor, driveline, brakes, interior, some glass, catback, radio (maybe it had the high dollar navagation and CD changer option). All thoes parts new from gm would prolly cost about that much. I can see the person parting the car out. He could make a lot of money seeing as a lot of thoes parts arent yet available from GM.

He only deals in Dodge Cummins truck rebuilders but he was watching this one since he thought he might give 10ish to get the long block for his Chevy II project and sell off the rest. He couldn't believe it went for 36K.
