You broke your oil pressure sending unit. It is right behind the intake manifold and gets broken by about 80% of 1st time intake swappers.
You can get a new one at the dealership.
Its a black plastic piece sticking straight up with a plug in the top of it. VERY easy to snap off.
Might want to make sure you're not spewing oil everywhere or somthing in case of extreme snappage. New one just screws in.

It takes a special socket that you can also get for any auto store. There is no need to get any of these parts from the dealer. Also welcome to the club for breaking your oil pressure sender, it's got a lot of members now... trust me I'm one.

I got one for like 27 bucks. but could i change it out without taking the manifold back off, like maybe just move all the vacum lines out of the way?

You've already done it once, so it will go alot faster this time.
When you remove the intake, make sure you broke off the plastic clip(s?) that holds the knock sensor wire to the stock coolant tube. Lots of people forget this and do not get a proper seal because the intake rests on it instead of the heads.

Make sure you also get the vacuum lines hooked up right or you wont have power brakes and you wont be able to switch the a/c from defrost to vent to floor either! Thats the tiny line going over to the HVAC.

I broke it too heh.
Here's a Tip: Buy the special socket and leave it on the sending unit after you replace it. Make sure the socket is correctly in place (pushed down). If you leave it on when putting the intake back on, it acts as a shield for the sending unit since it contacts metal and not the plastic sending unit. Once the intake is back on, reach back and just pull off the socket. Just do this every time you take the manifold on and off and you'll never break it again (negligence aside).

ive read a thread where if you turn the manifold to the right when pulling it out it misses the oil pressure sending unit and comes out perfect without breaking anything, anyone ever done this little trick and if so does it work??
