dont do anything stupid, especially when you're just getting used to the car.
give it a few months to learn how to drive it

Congratulations, and make sure you have room for errors when you push the car to the max for the first time. Once you know how the car is going to react in different situations, these cars are hell of fun.

The only way that the Z would have 'triple' the power of the Eclipse would be if it was a Non-Turbo, 1.8l Eclipse... (stock for stock)

I have 2 Mitsubishi Eclipse's parked right next to my F-body, so I know what I am talking about...

I to went from an 2000 Eclipse GT V6 to my 2002 TA WS6 and let me say although there isnt a power difference of Triple, between going from a front wheel drive car to a rear wheel drive car, and from going from 215 to the fly wheel 330+ to the wheels for me was a big change. Please drive safe and dont be another reason why my insurance is ungodly high

Congrats on the upgrade. I went from a 1997 Acura Integra, to a 2001 Z28 about a month and a half ago. I know what you mean on the power difference, I love how fast these F-Bodys are and mines only getting faster and faster by the week.

my last car did the 0-60 in over 11 seconds, and I almost never went WOT. So the Trans Am was one hell of an upgrade.
