Default Spool on the street?

Just wondering if anyone is running a spool on a daily driver. I might be stuck
getting one becuase i hate my new detroit locker and the spool is the only
one that would fit my 35 spline axles.

Did you ever drive a go cart with a solid rear end? Remember when you wold take a turn, or try to turn around? Well, thats what its going to feel like.

Stay away from it.

i have one in my 3rd gen and it sucks. in parking lots and such your tires will chirp and squeal and you can feel the tires catching and slipping. steer clear of the spool.

90 miles a day in my spooled daily driver. i drive it in rain, ice, snow, whatever. No problems at all. I wouldn't have it any other way. tires do chirp in parking lots but thats the worst of it.
Don't listen to people who all they know about a spool is what they have heard or read. Listen to the ones that have a spool.

I got a spool in my 9" and it's not that bad. I don't daily drive it but 99% of the time I do drive it is on the street. They are a little tough on rear tires but I also wouldn't want it any other way. There's no doubt in my mind that when I trounce on the loud pedal both tires are getting power to them.

Spool here as well. Its by far not my DD but it does see a few miles each year. As said before it does take some getting use to. Parking lots and **** especially but I noticed a bigg difrence in a curvey road, Sepecially with skinneys. But on the bright side. You dont have to worry about breaking it.
